On behalf of the Houston Area Urban League Young Professionals (HAULYP) and our community partners: Dr. Carolyn Evans-Shabazz- Houston City Council District D and Phillips 66, we would like to cordially invite you to volunteer at our upcoming youth empowerment program: Young Professionals University on April 29, 2023, from 10am-3pm. The event will take place at Houston Community College Central, 1300 Holman Street, Houston, TX 77004.

Volunteer Roles will be assigned as we get closer to the date, roles include:

  • greeters
  • parking lot attendant/directors
  • sign in table 
  • hospitality room monitors
  • group chaperons
  • college fair vendor support 
  • timekeepers 
  • set-up & breakdown crew
