Urban League Legislative Day at the Capitol

Join us for our very first Urban League Legislative Day at the Capitol! The Houston Area Urban League in conjunction with the Austin Area Urban League will hold several panels and roundtables with elected officials to discuss how previous and current legislation affects our communities.  Additionally, as part of this event, HAULYP and AAULYP will be leading sessions in which members will have a chance to meet with elected officials and their staff.

Please note that if you plan to participate in the afternoon session in which YPs meet with elected officials, we are asking you to participate in a brief orientation session on February 3rd at 3 PM via conference call.  Details will be mailed shortly.
